Welcome to the Officer Term Help Page.
The officer Term List Page allows you to search for an office's term, update a term and the ability to create a new term for an office.
If you want to search for an officer click in the text box and type the officers name and click search.
You can add a new term for an officer by clicking the button.
The table above is a list of all terms. If you hover your mouse cursor over a Title, Officer, Start Date or End Date you can access their record. As long as you select an option in the same row you will be able to access that specific record.
Creating New Term:
By clicking the on New Officer Term Button you will be able to enter in a new term record.
To start entering data click on the down arrow in the upper right hand corner of the text box of officers and a list of names will appear, select an office. Continue to Member Names and click the down arrow like you did for Offices and select a member name. Next click on the calendar image and select a start date, when the officer will start his or her term. The end date is an optional field and you do not have to type a end date at this time (for editing data click on Editing a Term).
After entering your data, click the save button. If you haven't entered the correct data, an error icon will appear illustrated to the right side of the text box by Offices . If you hover your mouse cursor over the error icon, a message will appear to tell you what you need to correct.( hover over the error icon).
The Officer Term List button will take you back to the Term List (previous page).
The Reset button will clear all of the text boxes.
Editing Existing Term:
To edit an existing term click on a term in the term officer table illistrated above. After clicking on a Title, Officer, Start Date or End Date you will be able to change the term record.
The record will look like the illistration above. You can change the data and click the Save button . You can return to Term List by clicking the Officer Term List Button . If you make changes and decide you didn't want to change it and want to restore the data the way it origianlly was the last time it was saved, click the Reset button .
You can change the date by clicking on the calendar image and select a date.
You have an option to delete a record by clicking the Delete button .
